Good luck to Ben

Post by JohnC » 03 Jan 2014, 22:25

I am sure we all wish Ben well for his visit next week to see the medics.

Here's to a clean result and a return to playing.

Fingers (not eyes) crossed for Ben today.

I believe that Kyle Brady had his knee operation yesterday as well, I'm sure we all wish him well with his recovery, regardless of whether we'll ever see him in a Yeltz shirt.

Any news on this? I hope everything is all ok with his health first and foremost.

I was hoping we might have heard something by now, if he needs more time though, then so be it, it's better there is no risk of more serious injury.

Lets hope no news is good news.

Question when Ben returns do you start with him or bring him on second half with say 30 mins to go until match fit?

I think Patterson's baconstring injury may open the door for an immediate return for Ben. Who knows though?

Patterson's loan may have ended.

If Ben's fit then I think he'll start. I think he's been training and keeping fitness up etc.

This isn't an injury that prevents exercise. It's more of a precaution and waiting for the all clear because one knock to the eye could blind him.

It's not as if he's been out with a leg break for example where he can't exercise.
