24/25 Squad

Post by YeltzDoc » 16 May 2024, 13:07

So, let's have the annual who / where / new bloke list. It will be regularly updated, littered with mistakes and I'll totally forget someone really obvious until reminded by Ada or HH.

Officially registered bods here.

New Blokes

Ben Cassidy - Alvechurch multi player of the year defender. We think a right back.
Reece Flanagan - Redditch’s top scorer and Fans’ player of the year.
Ryan Woollcott - Redditch again, last year’s Manager’s and Players’ player of the year. A centre half.
Connor Tee - Former Bumsgrove Warriors attacking midfielder signed from Rushall.
Adi Yussef - Goalscorer from levels above. Tanzanian international no less. Like I could have been. True story.
Nat Kelly - Definitely not a trialist.

Coaches Registered as Players

Lew Solly - keeper who signed from local football.
Martin Reilly - old hand defender for Kiddy and a load of others.

Retained

Platty
Jak Hickman
Mini
Todd Parker
Ryan Wynter
KD
Reece Mitchell
Ryan Boothe
Luke Postle - from the yoofs
Ryan Fletcher - ditto

Gone

Gregs - Walsall Wood
Nathan Hayward - Unsurprisingly, Worcester City.
Jack Holmes - Stamford for 10 minutes before signing for Rotherham.
Josh Ezewele - Spalding
Miracle - Tamworth for the old classic of, “an undisclosed fee”.
Kai Lissimore - Also Tamworth. Somewhat surprised. Must be nice there or something. Andy?
Luke Redfern - Stamford
Caine Elliott - Leamo
Tommy Taylor - Gone as not happy to be left out, apparently

Or not. But keeping TP is even better.

Happy with those who are staying. Amazed Mini has but fair play. Bit of flair never hurts. Too much however....

Slight aside, but for those of you who enjoy sending videos of you miming and dancing to other folks, the Club’s now on Tik Tok :o

Wynter, KD and Mitchell staying. Gotta be pleased with that.

So that is 7 of the starting 11 from the last home match, suggesting Russ was fairly satisfied with what he saw. Hopefully 2 or 3 new signings to come in and add extra quality

I hope we still see Miracle, Caine Elliot and Tom Taylor all sign back up too.
