League null and void

So the Southern League has just announced the league will end with no promotions or relegations. Whilst I understand what the world is going through right now, that fact we’ve played so well all season, and to be on the cusp of promotion to have it voided is a kick in the teeth! I guess we go again when the time is right!

Benefiting mediocrity in sparing those teams faced with relegation and punishing those for doing well and going for promotion....3/4 of the season has been played ridiculous decision to just pretend it hasn't all happened

Shambolic decision. The old fossils in charge of the Southern league have bottled a decision here. They've proved how moronic they are. I hope fans across all the leagues club to together to force the idiots out of their positions.

Important to keep a sense of perspective- this does not matter- yet I’m unclear why a decision had to be made now, when people are still not thinking clearly, and moreover, the picture for whether we’ll be able to start again in August is less than clear.

i've read their statement in full and i have to say what a complete load of bollocks , waffle and flannel. To say clubs and contracted players wanted a decision is crap. Teams will go bump before any start to next season and regarding contracted players , who can sign them anyway without any football. I could have accepted it if the end of the season was nigh but we still have something like six weeks to go , so I think the decision should have been reached at that time, and what is the difference between steps 1 & 2 and 3 & 6. No I think that the football league and the southern league have taken the easy option out which is all very predictable for them. SHAME ON YOU BOTH.

I agree it is a ridiculous decision, but I don't think we can just blame the Southern League
