Gresley, FA Trophy - Big Crowd?

Post by RobYeltz » 27 Nov 2014, 17:42

From having a look at their forum and seeing some of their fans tweets this week it sounds like they'll be bringing a decent following to The Grove on Saturday. I remember last season when we thumped them 5-0 they had a good following, even if it was midweek.
With only 150 odd turning up on Tuesday I'm guessing a few decided to save their cash/get out of jail cards for Saturday. It would be great to get a 500+ gate on Saturday to cheer on the boys. The heavy defeat on Tuesday wasn't really a true reflection of the game and was our first defeat in ages at The Grove.
Come on Yeltmen and women, make sure we get through to the next round and try and get 500+ down there!

Yeah the more people in the gate the better it is for the club and the players also. Let's get behind the boys and go through to the next round.

We'll also be collecting again for Yeltz TV. We had brilliant support on Tuesday for a small crowd, we haven't counted yet, we'll do a big reveal on Saturday night.

We're also about to get a live podcast ready for an 8 o'clock start. Make sure to get involved on Twitter.

Hi all Gresley fan here

We indeed do have a coach full traveling tomorrow plus fans who decided to drive aswell i know there's a few more trying there hardest to arrange a minibus as well so there could be a possible 150-200 gresley fans attending tomorrow which wouldn't surprise me our away support is normal decent but with it being a big game and both B*rton albion (sorry i just hate the name its like a swear word to me) and derby being away the away following should be decent fingers crossed its a big turn out for both teams with the prize on offer i wouldn't mind nicking it and playing wrexham away again like last season haha but no looking forward to coming down again i was there last season when you guys won 5-0 :-[ nice ground and the bar next to it was even better haha but its the cup anything can happen as we all know ;D

See you guys tomorrow

Please note you are not playing in Derbyshire and although dull here today.

However,

Forecast Summary

Saturday

A largely cloudy but mostly dry start. Through the day, some sunny spells are likely to develop, especially in the south, and it will feel mild with light winds.

As we are West Midlands don't expect much Sun but after a couple of Ciders you won't care. ;)

Speaking to one of their chaps on social media they also seem to have a decent flag following, lets show them what we can do

Step forward AVFCYELTZ and the flag bag
