So, Sunday evening. Barnsley? Or further still?

Got home about 30 mins before the England match.
A mere 20 hours from my first call to them.
FML.

Yes theyve done well but I wonder at what cost. If you choose to blindly optimistic about everything, crack on. However dont go putting thoughts into my words, that weren't actually said or meant.
And whilst not attending the Grove as often as most on here, I did start going again when the club was struggling and half the hangers on hadnt arrived. And will do when they go again. So Im afraid my bollocks are perfectly proprtioned, thank you very much.
"Superb little village club. Facilities are very good and best burger Ive had at a match. Have to admire clubs like this for being run so well.
Second visit...oh boy. Its gone a bit downhill in a year. Food was poor and the ground is looking like a building site. Such a shame"
Thats my google review at Yaxley. Were you there?
Apologies I read the forum quickly yesterday and having read your post and reread your original post I would like to extend my apologies to yourself. I read it wrong and jumped to the wrong conclusion. Sorry my mistake.....

I'm mad?? Blimey thats a tad personal dont you think? OK, you think I am mad, so educate me, which part of my post that you claimed makes me mad, is in fact madness? Its very positive and factual - soooooo??andy wrote: ↑11 Dec 2022, 14:50You're mad.Yeltzbaby wrote: ↑11 Dec 2022, 07:54Another win, SAY WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE SAY WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE.
Exactly half way through season.
Absolutely incredible first half to the season, standard is extremely high and consistency of results is incredible. Carry this on second half and we will win this league, nothing to fear, let's do this together. There will be the odd wobble along the way I am sure but this is the time to get through all this together, no self destruct buttons when we lose the odd game or two
Stat alert. My gcse c grade maths tells me we average just over 7 points for every 3 games played. Now that ain't bad, what's not to like.

Enough now. Don’t make my increasingly poor mood become all “deletey”.

Re: Yaxley Updates
As an aside to the thread creep, the quality of the YeltzTV videos and commentary from Matt Ponter are excellent, latest one here - https://youtu.be/1saJfLYGVIQ
I’ll guess that the commentary is dubbed on afterwards, but it’s very professional and wouldn’t look out of place on the telly.
He doesn’t even fall into BCRs favourite trap of giving the team lineups by reading a list of 32 names in a dull monotone. I miss it if anything…
I think that Matt was doing a sports media degree, which I’m guessing he’s now finished and is filling in with us while waiting for SkySports to swoop.
Top man, well done.

Agreed. Top man is Ponts and great to have his talents on Yeltz TV.
He was part of the original Yeltz TV set-up back in the day (maybe 6-7 years ago now? possibly even longer) and I think they've all gone on to have jobs in the world of media now they're all grown up. Not forgetting becoming prominent authors too.
We've been very lucky to have had a succession of talented people behind the Yeltz TV camera. Does huge amounts for the exposure of the club and no doubt helps get more people through the turnstile. Fairly sure we're best in class compared to the other local clubs.
