In a long line of depressing news since last April , this is one of the worst. To lose your captain in a sideways move to the local rivals just sums up the poor state of the club, regardless of probably being safe from the drop. There was a comment earlier about the other JH writing off this season, you presume he'll still be here of course. I know some would like him to go, but because of a club falling apart around him? Not sure anybody would want that to be the reason.

I get the feeling we're in for a bleak future - given what's happened over the last 12 months.

We've bounced back from worse situations, I guess.

Who knows how bad it could get, though?

Not been to many games lately he has not been captain since the return of Jay Denny.

But I agree sad to lose him and even sadder to that lot down the road. Good player, nice chap.

Ah yes I thought it was such a daft decision at the time that I decided to forget about it. Maybe one of the reasons he's decided his future is better elsewhere?
