Re: Floodlights
Great programme that was and still can't believe they used The Grove, of all the grounds in the country!

It was far more than coincidence that the Grove was chosen at that timebeastyyeltz wrote:Great programme that was and still can't believe they used The Grove, of all the grounds in the country!
, Even a link with Birmingham City was pointed at and trust me, some of us know that was more than coincidence!

Yes we do have one bulb down - it failed after the replacement bulbs were ordered apparently.Seamus wrote:Looked good yesterday, however perhaps it was my eyes but do we already have a failed bulb in the Hawne Leave Button Factory corner ?
Good of the trust to donate £1,000 towards the cost.

Re: Floodlights
I can confirm that the "duff" bulb failed after the required number were originally ordered.
At £200 a shot these are not kept in stock and have to be ordered from the only supplier, Philips, in Belgium.
I believe that there will be further work done later in the year re: external plastic cabling cover that has been attacked by the local avian population - bloody seagulls!
For any tech. geek that may be interested the lux reading is now 973.71 - FA level 3 standard.

It sounds impressive but I'm not really sure what either of those mean, Lutley.lutleyyeltz wrote: For any tech. geek that may be interested the lux reading is now 973.71 - FA level 3 standard.
Could you please enlighten me. Ho! Ho!

PS. I may even have to award myself a George for such a dodgy punny sort of thing - if nothing else but to stir the wrath of Showaddywaddy Ken
