Re: Carlton Town updates
Considering the 2 poor performances at home in league and cup, that now makes it 3 wins out of 4 in the league and a healthy start to the campaign pointswise. Maybe if confidence can now grow as a result, the players can realise thier potential and make it a decent season.

Fingers crossed Andy. I personally thought todays game would be very tough for us with Carlton finishing 2nd last season and having a strong start to the season.
Another tricky game on Tuesday night at home against Coalville. I just hope that if this run of good form continues the fans will start turning up in more numbers at home.

Lucky win no doubt....... I'll leave that for the usual suspects to moan at. Bar the Dudley game not a bad start, unfortunately that match has clouded the views with all the money we could have made.
Would be nice to think we could beat coalville on Tuesday but tough fixture. I don't particularly regard his tactical nous but he did change the team against Sutton and seems got them right today against a very physical side and not forgetting play-offees from last season. Normal service resumed Tuesday from me :-)
Touchwood in the Solihull league had a result, I spent a bleeding fortune on a forward called John Lewis...........

I do not want to single out players but clearly the subs that came on to replace Jones and Griffin two weeks running are much better players and should start against Sutton.

Praise where it is due - a win is a win and we have, in the league at least, made a very promising start, results wise.
I always thought that Jean-Michel Gueyes was a player that offered a lot, and against Sutton he proved what he can do. A goal today will surely give him a starting spot against Coalville.

?? - Gueyes did start today Lutters - he does seem to offer a little more than Jonah (1goal each - Jones 23 starts v Gueyes 5 starts)lutleyyeltz wrote: A goal today will surely give him a starting spot against Coalville.
- there again Lutters you would offer more than Jonah !
