But if people bite, then who is the biggest idiot? Ignore it. Simple as.
Absolutely, i wouldn’t dream of giving him hassle on SM nor do I want to try and be his mate on there or in the bar etc- I’m sure he’s a decent enough person but he seems the sort of guy I’d run a mile to avoid going down the pub with and he’d probably think the same about me. It doesn’t make him a bad bloke, just not my kind of guy with all the “top bantz” etc.
It’s a simple transaction, I think he’s a good footballer and if he does that for Halesowen town I’ll blow smoke up his jaxxi for 90 minutes then go home.

After all the upset the last few days we’ve won, played well and moods are all lifted.
So Jamie Insall decides to tweet a zipped mouth emoji whist he’s presumably barely had time to undo his boots.
Not cool, not helpful.
He's best off ignored. Pretty much what defenders need to do to defend him.
We won tonight inspite of him, not because of him. The quicker he realises he's not bigger than the club, the better.
No doubt I'll get an abusive message later, but that's the sum of the equation.

Josh. Some people just like the wind up. They get very bored if they dont get the reaction. Id tell anyone else you know not to play the game.
It just plays into their hands

Can you honestly not see why snide comments like this might put someone's hackles up?

Im sure we all can!!! Thats why its done! But who looks stupid if no-one bothers every time they do it?
Put it this way. That emoji could have a million meanings. Making threats doesnt. Sometimes you gotta rise above. You bite, they win. Simple

Insall is a wind up merchant who seems to have surprisingly thin skin, but I think comments about how easy he is to defend against (in a snide manner) just fan the flames and aren't necessary either. Some of the comments shouted at him during the game today don't exactly help either.
I've not seen him do anything else than try his nuts off for us and that's all I really care about.

I think at this point I'd rather see Rich Smith starting than Insall.

Again. Not on social media and was away from the chanty mob, second half in particular. It just strikes me its beyond incredibly childish now. Someone has to be the bigger person. The truth will out eventually.
As you said, as long as he runs his socks off, he gets my support. The social media thing will be seen by other players/officials. Theyll probably support him. Theyre a team after all.
Thats why its so important not to bite. It will die down and burn out.
Anyhoo. I dont want to say anymore on childish squabbles.
We won. They played well. Im happy.

I totally agree! I've had enough of this whole situation. It's childish and everyone needs to grow up. No one is bigger than the club - not Paul Smith, not Jamie Insall, and certainly none of us fans. I wish everyone would bloody remember that and just get on with supporting the team. We're supposed to all want the same thing!

That is, I hopefully assume, how the vast majority of fans feel.
Christ on a bike - let's just enjoy watching the games and the friendship of those who we watch with.
Is that too much to hope for?
Probably.
