It just confirms that she has at least 75% of the shares.

Tammy Lynch - 900,000 Shares
Steve Lynch - 99,999 Shares
Mike Burke - 1 Share
I still cant work out how that farce is legal, let alone anything else. :-\

So is he allowed to still hold shares although not a directorship?

Yeah, no problem - I had some British Gas shares but never got invited to the board meetings, even though I told them Sid sent me. ;)
Whether the FA have the ability to make you sell your shares if they consider them to be an indicator of involvement in a club, dunno.
Surely though Steve could just transfer them to Tammy and that would be perfectly legal from a company point of view and would satisfy the FA if it was required.

However, the question raised is that if Steve and his family are the major shareholders, they can appoint and dismiss directors as they wish. So, whilst Karen is the sole director, does she have free reign on all matters, financial, footballing and everything else, or does she need the approval of the shareholders while she is in position?

I understand that generally shares can be held and not a directorship but does the ban from football activities extend to shares ?

Dunno. But I guess it's moot as the remainder could easily be transferred to Tammy who you would guess would have similar aims for the club as Steve.

It would be interesting to have confirmation from the club as to what Steve's family's intentions are, whether they will continue to hold a controlling interest or whether it's now time to move on.

My guess is that because it is Halesowen Town 1873 Ltd that is the Associate Member of the FA (the so called "golden share"), then a person banned from involvement in football activity is prohited from being a officer of a such a Company.

According to the link to Companies House, Steve also owns 'Halesowen Town Limited' which is actually set up as a 'Licensed Club' company.

I'd heard before the bar and stadium were 2 different legal entities, so I'm presuming that Steve although banned from football activities, can still have control of the bar which is enclosed by the football stadium? Will he have to be dropped off by helicopter so he doesn't touch the football club grounds when trying to get in ???

The setup of creating the bar as a separate company must be perfectly legal and from the sounds of it, can not be touched by the FA ruling, so its also another way Steve has entrenched himself into the clubs 'finances' :-\

I suppose the fact that it's all on Companies House (a public forum if you like) makes it almost worthwhile going to the clubs forum on the 1st July. Certainly from the first 15 or so posts, there's plenty of questions that I'm sure could be asked. Anyone going to step up to the plate?
