Full quote from the club -
Club Statement

Recently Steve Lynch and Halesowen town has been charged with 12 breaches of FA rules dating back, in part to 2011, the Club and Mr. Lynch were given until December 9th 2016 to respond to these to these charges, which was done within the requested time frame.
The club and Mr. Lynch have requested a personal hearing at FA Headquarters at Wembley and are at present awaiting a date for that hearing.
Steve Lynch said: "I can confirm that the club has responded and has requested a personal hearing with the FA. We are now waiting to hear when that will take place''
"From my point of view, I'd rather the issue was just with me and the club wasn't involved. We will do everything we can to work with the FA about the matter.
"I also want to stress to the fans that this has nothing to do with our plans this season and rumours that our budget has been cut recently because of this issue are totally untrue."
The Club will not be making any further comment on this matter until its resolution

Apart from situation with SL & Co, heard that our second goalkeeper Bateman has been released/ left, whilst on coach to Ashton U.. is this correct !!??. Nothing on " players news section ". If the news on SL comes to the worst scenario, how far back will the FA be able to delve into HTFC books!!. As we all know we have been down this dark road before, with near critical consequences ??? ??? .

'We haven't been playing too badly in recent weeks and have been drawing a lot of games'

I'm sorry? Have I been watching a different team?

Reads as though Steve loaned the club money but not recorded properly or eligble to do so at the time.

But it's easy to jump to conspiracy theories with this news, so need to be patient and see where it goes after FA hearing. :-\

Maybe comment about draws was made when reply due to FA on 9th December ???

Sort of surprised about the lack of discussion on this topic, but then again maybe not.

Looks like the club could be in big trouble once again, and the lack of information - or at least any real clarification about what's going on - from the club is very disappointing to say the least. This has been hanging over the club since DECEMBER!!!

From my point of view, just about the worst thing that happened in our dubious recent history (even worse than being associated with criminals) was when we got thrown out of the FA competitions for malpractice/incompetence. It was a total embarrassment as a football club to have fallen so low, and I really hoped we'd never be in that position again.

It would be devastating, especially after all the hard work lots of people put in to resurrect the club, to potentially be in a similar position again. I suspect I'm not the only one right now who's close to giving up. :'(

I'm not giving up Poll............stick with it, it is going to be more painful this time (as I don't think the support is in a 'good place' as it was before).
Not entirely sure what can be done at this stage, it's alright me shouting lets all get together as supporters and have a frank discussion about what people see and want but without a few more facts and options and most of all LEADERSHIP, then I think we're also screwed, I would be more than devastated to lose the club but I'm clinging on to optimism somewhere out there. And as those who've known me for 20+ years, I'm not the most positive of folk...........

And let's not forget this http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/f ... ens-154424

Especially these words:-

“I might be here for five years, ten years, 15 years but however long I’m here the club will still be going when I’m gone."

Let's hope so eh?

It’s clear that fans aren’t as united as they need to be to achieve what we achieved last time we were in similar circumstances – As a result, I fear the worst.

Can anyone who knows more than me on such matters have an educated guess on when it’s likely a decision by the FA will be made, and what the likely sanctions are? I.e will we know the result in the coming days, weeks or months? And will any sanctions take effect this season?

I suppose like any troubled marriage you have to work out what went wrong for us all to fall out so much. Not so much the blame game more the how do we go to marriage counselling / divorce courts.......and move on in a positive fashion.

As regards the FA, I don't know enough about our case, but based on hundreds of similar / worse / better cases (trawl the net for clubs who've had troubles) it usually goes ahead within the next month or so, I'd have thought any bans are instant, exclusion from cups is the next season (twas the last time we were in a mess), relegation, off the field that is, well I wouldn't want to think about that, although it may be the only way. I'm not a big fan of the AFC Grove Recreationals route....................like Lutley said yesterday, it's like de ja vu, I swear I wrote all this 8 years ago :(
