Re: Can we do it
I'm mellowing after all your lovely responses.
So- no, Rob, I definitely didn't think we'd finish like we did last season! It was incredible. But we have got (much) tougher opponents, and we'll have played far more games. What I will say is this though- I looked at our fixtures with 20 games to go and there was a clear divide. The first 10 were very tough, and then our last 10 were noticeably kinder. If we can get to the end of Feb still on good form, it would be an almighty achievement and we can be really optimistic about our run in.
And Raiden, I have seen FC this season and they are certainly not to be feared. Every season they start poorly, gradually improve- and then lose in the playoffs. I think we'll have caught them at a bad time, on that basis. Interestingly they have a YouTube channel too, and I watched their 5-2 victory over Marine yesterday. I hope John and Trev have had a look too- as I don't think they'd fancy Ben 10's pace over the top.

Re: Can we do it
Here is my albeit short, and stat free opinion. I've only been 'watching' Halesowen since August, and I often find it difficult to relay what's happened in a game because it looks some much different through a camera lense.
However what I can say is that the never give up attitude, and fight til the end persitance can only stand this side in good stead. All the coaching staff know exactly what they're doing, as do the players - they all have a job and do it brilliantly week in week out. I agree they're are some tough games still to be played yet, and with the recurrence of the Sat/Tues schedule it will be a difficult run in.
Having said that I'm more than confident that with the brilliant support and attitude of all involved with this club, that we can knick a spot in the play offs. As many have said, being a promoted team to even consider the play offs is a huge achievement where, league safety and John's 50 point mark have always been the aim of the season.
All that is left to do between now and the 25th, is to continue to support the lads, and enjoy watching the team play football. Plus from a personal point of view, making the play offs, and potentially going up would make a brilliant video!
