Hello everyone in Halesowen.
Very nice to see that the Yeltz are doing well. I have to come over to Halesowen very soon. But on the 19 -10 we are leaving for 8 days to Kemer in Turkey with 37 referee's on referee's bootcamp or trainings week. ;) Ultra inclusive all-inn !! YES . So , I think it will be 2014 to the Grove again and the Yeltz Bar. ::)

Very nice win yesterday !! I predicted 3-0 and was happy with that score ;D but the endscore was 5-0 !
Today 's match will be a local derby between two very nice clubs . I could walk to the home team but as a real Dutchman i will take my bike ! But maybe I will walk home with my bike after the match ::) After a few pints ...
Will tell you why . My neigbour Richard is the assistant -trainer from the home town team http://www.svschalkhaar.nl/ and als worked as ass-trainer for the visiting team http://www.vvheino.nl/voetbal/
We will definitly drink a pint after the match no matter what the endscore will be ....
Will keep you informed.

An update from Holland !! Just recovered from last sunday's match. Was I injured ? Later on the evening. Will explain it to you.
After the match were I was the referee had a few drinks afterwards with the chairman from the home town team . The home team had lost 0-1 but no problem the visiting team was stronger and deserved to win. In the board room I drank two coke's and then went to the home town clubhouse ( like the Yeltzbar) You can aske what did you do in this clubhouse . Well I was invited by the chairman Ron who happens to be also a member of or referee's association and also will go with us to Turkey on the 17 oktober. As you wil understand we drank a few pints...

Later on the evening I went on my bike to a local fair just 25 minutes from my home. I shouldn't have done that :-[ Drank a few pints .

Then went home and just when I reached my home fell down from my bike !! Don't know why ;D

But I will be fit again for my next match on sunday............ ;)

Good luck to the Yeltz next saturday ! Definitly a win again !!

Hi ! Too bad the Yeltz have lost at Marske :'(
As a ref ( assesor / referee's coach) I have analyzed the video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5luy81l3 ... xeul6NWyPQ

First of all I like to mention the position of the ref on the pitch at this moment , he's looking into the situation . He didn't see the handbal from the Yeltz no 5 who he is going with his body and hand to the ball in a not natural position and hereby is playing the ball with his hand . A penalty should have been the right decision from the ref. But he was not in a good position to see this handball. I personally think he din't see it at all. Then the next situation where the ref is whistling for a penalty :(

The nr 10 from Marske is sliding away with his left foot , on the next moment he is grabbing with his left arm the Yeltz defender and they are both falling on the pitch. I'm sure from the position where the referee is standing he couldn't have seen this foul. Also there are 2 players blocking his view. I don't understand why he is whistling for a penalty from his point of view. Too bad !
( This is my opinion of course !)

But we have to deal with it . I'm sure that the ref will also see this vid and take his conclusion that his following of the match must be better .. so that when he is giving a penalty he is 100 % sure of a foul.
Its all in the game !!

Wish you good luck on tuesday evening !!
