Spoke to Guesty about entrance music few months back. To me it's obvious it should be this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCXUXzenLSw

Originally it's the soundtrack from Requiem For A Dream composed by Clint Mansell (older fans will remember him of Pop Will Eat Itself fame)

Think a PL team run out to this but can't remember who.

Anyway, we should narrow it down and vote, I'm prepared to organise it in another thread...

As for the drum? Me personally - NO!

Went to most England matches at the turn of the century and the band that attend these games - they are irritating.
The Sutton lads got on my tits too.
The idea is nice and we'd all think it rather twee at first but believe me, the popularity of it would quickly decline.

Again, I hope I'm proved wrong because this is what the forum is for: helping improving the club any way we can :)

Did wonder when someone was going to acknowledge that banging the boards in the Shed End ain't exactly healthy - guilty as charged!!

Yep I do like that track swipey.

I don't really care what we try as long as there is some noise inside the grove ! Kings Lynn last season was good, a big game and the players responded to our encouragement, but Kings Lynn was just 3 points the same as every other game in the league, so it shouldn't matter if its Kings Lynn, West Brom or Freddie Frollocks F.C, all the points we have to play for this season we should be (or those that want to) shouting and singing and doing all we can so that the players can give us the points tally at the end of the season we want ! Even if our support gets us an extra point or convinces the ref of a 50/50 penalty shout, it's worth it, an extra point could be the difference between play offs and no play off, or better still automatic promotion or play offs.

Next home game lets get behind the lads ! Get those rattles and air horns out if you have too ! We might just see our first home win of the season and build the The Grove into a place the visitors might just feel a little intimidated.

I think me, Stokes, Scouse and Tilley helped win our pen on Saturday! We were right behind the goal. :-X

Excellent ! Exactly my point, why does away support with less numbers make more noise and encourage their team more so than a crowd at home with way more people ??? People will say the hardcore go away from home, but don't those people go to home games too ? So there should be no excuse we should be able to create a great atmosphere at the grove and help win a few penalties this season !

I'm one of the guilty parties here. I'm very quiet and tend to shuffle off on my own (fnarr fnarr gnuff gnuff) first half as I really really concentrate on the game and don't say much... by the second half I'm 'refreshed' and always join in when ZeeZee starts a sing-song.
Away games it's different, dunno why? ???

Hi,

I'm the "Friend" he mentions, and the person who is actually wring the chants (Well, taking chants/songs and editing them to our specification) i.e 'Blue is the Color', just change Chelsea to Halesowen and The Bridge to The Grove.

I think it's a good idea to raise the atmosphere and to back our lads (Improve their morale etc.). I hope that others agree, and the idea of "Now that's what I call Shed music" I just cracked up at :D

I do not like drums as normally we see it when teams have about 8 fans Sutton and there was one down south of M4 2 years ago. It drowns the singing out.

Singing sure. Meaningful encouraging Halesowen songs.

Not the anti Stourbr*dge (when not playing them) or no relevance to Halesowen about league clubs.
