I think the online ticketing will come in handy for the all ticket games - both for fans and the club. Previously you’ve had to queue up at the Yeltz Bar on an evening (and people on here used to complain/question how they were meant to get down there) when now you can just buy on your phone at home.

Season tickets should probably be physical - a barcode feels a little impersonal and I wasn’t really expecting that to change, and plus we do need to keep a cash option on the turnstile as people will still want to pay that way.

The fact that some of us ancient, gnarled specimens of humanity are still trying to assimilate the spurious claim that the Earth is round (really?), whilst mourning the loss of the quill pen and parchment for our communication requirements, seems to have escaped you techno geeks out there!
I have difficulty in mastering the idea of standing up straight each morning!
I did obtain a new fangled computer thingy about 25  years ago, but every time that I switched it on the wife moaned that she couldn't use the telephone.

However, if this new ticketing arrangement is getting HTFC ready for our inevitable promotion to National League status then, I suppose, I'll have to fire up my Samsung S25 512GB machine and join the age of digitalisation.
Wound up? Moi, Nah!

Me being me being slow... Does this mean that now we have dragged ourselves, as a club, kicking and screaming into the digital age that there will ne no tickets sold at the turnstiles?

Pretty sure we will operate a “hybrid” system of old and new next season to ease into digital. Very sensible IMHO as our friends down the A458 caused chaos when they just bought digital overnight as those Yeltz fans who walked away on that pre season friendly a few years ago will testify.
