If that was good, I wouldn't like to watch us when we are bad. Yet another opportunity squandered, seemed to run out of ideas, no plan B, long ball up to Donnelly, over and over again. The Manager said that he was pleased, really? Where was the urgency in moving the ball quickly.
How Hickman gets in the team above Mitchell beggars belief. Wragg was brought on far too late in the game.
Thought we lacked quality today, very disappointing.

Bit surprised at some of the comments here, which I can only put down to disappointment. I didnt think we played poorly and Ive certainly seen worse. I just think we didnt look like scoring. I havent any point believed we'll win the league, in fact 15 or so games back, I thought we'd struggle to hold the play offs. I thought Barwell belied their league position today. Not that they played with any flair, but worked as a unit, even if the individual parts werent spectacular. Long way to go yet.
With our lot it's the hope that kills you. I too would have snapped your hand off for a play off place, yet as it's transpired we could have walked the title. The inconsistency ( and I know the other contenders will say the same) has been marked. We've blown games, been beaten by very poor sides, and had a poor disciplinary record that has cost us points and yet we're still up there. We've also put in magnificent performances which have given us the right to be in contention to the end. Yet it still feels so much like 'what it could have been'.

Not impressed with that today. Really struggling to string 2 passes together. Not sure if it's getting to the squad, expectations, pressure and everything but we seem to have lost confidence and fitness at the business end of the season.
People will say we're on a run of not losing or conceding goals, and we seem more afraid to lose than giving it a good go, but 3 points out of 9 from those 3 games is poor.
Considering the experience in the coaching team id have expected more tactically especially if it's not working by half time make some changes surely, or even switch Cam and KD around a bit.
Still quite capable of winning the last 3 games if they want to that is.

I dont think we've shown enough consistency to walk the title either as you rightly say. Thats why im not overly disappointed we arent. I dont expect us to win the play offfs either. For me it feels a bit work in progress. We are competing against teams well established in the league and I still think we're finding our feet. I cant be disappointed at our league position, given we had to get promoted via the play offs after the same issues we have now. Not sure this team is National League Standard.

I had great feelings about this match but after 15 minutes or so, we were back to our old ways. The long high balls booted up the pitch nearly of all of which were won easily by their solid central defenders. To be fair, Barwell mainly used the same tactic and our central defenders were just as good.
We only looked threatening when we played the ball on the ground, especially up the wings. We looked good at corners but couldn't get the final touch to score. Donnelly had a quiet game by his standards. Very disappointing especially with Bedford coming back from a 2 goal deficit.

Felt like a defeat today was fully expecting us to come out 2nd half and have a right good go at them but despite dominating the ball we rarely threatened them far to slow getting the ball.forward. Would have made changes at half time or at the latest 60 mins. Josh smile man of match for me. 3 to go all.very tricky games.

We'd all have taken this at the start of the season, but I assume Russ Penn is towing the party line saying he thought we were good today? Barwell were physical and committed but they were limited and we couldn't break them down.

Too many seemed off their game and I felt a bit of unease - looks like the pressure told today. Barwell were physical and deserved their draw. Unfortunately me and my lad had to endure some dickhead at the bus stop telling everyone how Russ Penn was a clown and should be sacked. So all in all although we enjoy football and the occasion this day was probably one to forget. But. We're still in the hunt and in the playoffs. I'm honestly sure what more people expect? It's been a great season no matter the outcome.

Let's go positive a minute........ we're 10 unbeaten. Barwell were barely rubbish....... and yes we didn't beat them but didn't look troubled at all. Just needed a cutting edge.
Leiston had their goalkeeper sent off so he misses next Saturday and Stamford had 2 straight reds ruling 2 of them out of the match against us.

I'm working on ruling out half of Bedford and Ketterings squads for the next 3.........
