Glad someone else noticed the strange attendance figure thought there was probably around 1200 in my eyes…. hopefully that will be the last time we go there for a while and if we were to get promoted they don’t get promoted with us 🤣
Not sure why. I quite like going to Kettering. There will be plenty you might not like visiting should we go up.

I was there and would have said there were over a thousand there.
I would have settled for the point at kick off time but at the end felt disappointed we didn't win.
On to the next one?

Great result last night especially coming so soon after the high of the Stour game whereas Kettering had the extra days rest. More pleasing really is the performance and sounds like we would have been worthy winners.

Big game now though Saturday where the tables turn completely and nothing but a win will do. Slightly concerning is our goals for on the road so hopefully we can get an early one settle down and get a few more. Anything but a win from this or else we could put ourselves up against it in the race for the play offs.

Agree the crowd number seemed light. I also agree with the earlier comment about Kettering - I actually found them pretty friendly and, even though a large number of teenage hoodlums joined us in the one stand in the first half, it never really got particularly troublesome or menacing.

As for the performance - it was brilliant. Honestly, I was so chuffed with that last night. We looked a proper team. Played some lovely football and it felt like the players had confidence/belief. Work rate was off the chart too, even down to the last few minutes.

Also - I've been pining for Ponticelli for a few months but I think we've found the solution last night. He's not the same role (or mould) yet Butterfield was outstanding in the 10 shirt last night. The squad is very tight now that Yussef's slung his hook, and I think we've got a run of fixtures coming up that could elevate us further up the table.

Exciting times.

(Cue a 3-0 loss at Biggleswade)
