3-0 KD. Playing some nice stuff, impressive.

Either the pitch is gradually getting further away or we’re bringing on players that are smaller.

Very encouraging tonight. Played some lovely football - didn’t feel like an early preseason game and the new players looked settled already. Few trialists on show (one familiar, the others not) who all did alright. Mini and KD outstanding. Think we are a striker light still, potentially.

Is that even possible after last year?

I think most of the second half subs were youth teamers - and to their credit they gave an experienced Worcester back line some problems.

I do agree on height though. Tee looks another technical magician and Flanagan ain’t the biggest either. We look a threat on set pieces though - especially when we played three centre backs second half. And KD is hilarious - I think he must have some Wallace & Gromit style springs in his boots as he wins every header against their centre backs.

It seems like 40 years of midgets. The conversation has been going since the early '80s.

Bananaman is the only half-decent monster that I remember. I've probably missed dozens.
I'd add Iyesden too, but more on width than height.
Can't we just clone Don Smith?

Speaking of FA Cup double-trick scorers, I recall Duane Darby as being a big unit, but 5' 11 according to Wiki
