The Halesowen News has this week reported the passing away on 16th March of the former Halesowen Town manager, Brian Forsbrook.
The early to mid 1970s was one of the lowest periods in the club's history which culminated in finishing bottom of the West Midlands League at the end of the 1976-77 season. Brian came along and brought a most welcoming improvement in performances to reach 9th place. The foundations had been laid for the club to make more progress. Brian moved on to other clubs including Gloucester and Cheltenham.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Brian, may you rest in peace.
Brian Forsbrook

Re: Brian Forsbrook
Before my time, but certainly echo those sentiments. The rise from such anonymity during those years to what we became was amazing.
