Permitted to do so and wise to do so are not the same thing. If the clubs can’t have fans and catering/bars to get revenue then there won’t be the funds for the clubs to pay the players anyway.

Re: Restart
Makes no sense whatsoever. If it is classed as 'work', it is being acknowledged as a business, so how can it be denied it's income? Will we be subsidised like the National League? What is the point of everybody being told they must wash hands, keep apart, not mix in homes etc, and can be fined for not doing so, when 2 football clubs of many players, staff and club officials are encouraged to come together, with I imagine no testing policy? We either genuinely believe in suppressing this virus by ALL means possible or we don't. It can't be both.

Re: Restart
I can't see clubs voting for a restart, because even in Tier 2 the clubhouses wouldn't be open and the crowds are still capped at 400/600

Re: Restart
Agreed. A further delay until the next Tier announcement on Dec 16th would be my guess.

Cheers HH. At least that is clear info from the FA. I'm amazed!HalesowenHarry wrote: ↑02 Dec 2020, 16:25more waffle

Now it needs to be clarified if teams in tier 3 will be subsidised like all the higher divisions have been.

Bloody hell!
No wonder we can't understand it all with divisions, levels, tiers and steps. What next? Echelons?
Over to you....

Portions??
So it would appear that anyone outside a Tier 3 area cannot travel to play in it and vice versa if Im reading it correctly...so we cannot travel to any Tier 2 areas.
West Midlands Regional League anyone?

Re: Restart
Ollie Bayliss has posted that of the Southern League teams there are 1 in Tier 1, 65 in Tier 2 and 16 in Tier 3 (which is 20%) which I would reckon means that the only unknown is the length of the continued pause.
