Not completely fluent in the first half hour or so, missed quite a few good chances, their keeper made a dozen good saves, the team chopped and changed. Won 5-0.
Just great to be back at The Grove. Nice to see faces I hadn’t seen in six months. I know this was a run out to get the capacity up for the Stour game but still it was a fine performance and the whole squad look raring to go.
Gregory, and I say this based only on sixty minutes of judgment, looks like a sublime footballer. His touch, vision, and hold up play is something else.
All good in the hood tonight.

Re: Wolves Cas
Credit to Wolves Casuals, they came to play football the right way against a side with loads of quality and much higher up the leagues. They could have tried to kick us, but didn't, so it gave us a great opportunity to knock the ball around and create a LOT of chances. The lads up front we're getting a lot of shooting practice and to be fair their keeper was magnificent. Look forward to seeing us against similar or higher level opposition but on what we saw tonight we are as good as last season, so bring it all on!

Great to be back with good friends after such a long time!
We certainly haven't lost our banter talents!
A lot of quality out there, on a quality pitch, last night.
It would seem that our squad is as good - if not better- than last season.
We're going to p**s this league!

Think we may have slightly edged it last night.

Stop stealing my lines!!
Seriously though, I really think we will. This sort of quality should blow anything away in this division. Let's just pray for a full season.

Great stats. But the substitutions?!?!? We must have made at least 8 EACH!

I didn't spot a thirteen, but I think every other number up to twenty was used.
