Blimey, this is good news. Let's hope it actually happens. It's going to be limited numbers for sure. I would imagine tickets especially if the football league are still behind closed doors. Everybody will be looking for a football fix!

Buying a season ticket seems like it was a wise move!

In theory we could have fans at the friendly at FC Stratford (played at Stratford Town’s ground).
I asked on Twitter and they said -

“Evening Guy, certainly something we'd like to be able to do but I'm sure you understand it isn't just a case of opening the doors. We are working hard to see if we can get set for tomorrow to allow fans to come and watch. Hopefully we should have an announcement in the morning.”

On BBC Sport, this morning, it was stated that fans at lower league grounds will be allowed to stand/sit in strictly controlled groups of six.

We can have as many fans as we want there now!

Because the match has been called off.

latest....based on capacity 15% of 3000 is 450 permitted to attend, subject to any rules HTFC put in place

Stage one:

From 22 August 2020 to 30 August 2020, spectators are permitted to attend fixtures at Steps 3-6of the NLS and tiers three to four of the WFP, providing that their number does not exceed 15 per cent of the minimum ground grading capacity at these levels or respective figures set out within the updated guidelines
If a club at these levels does not play any fixtures during this period, it must have played at least one pre-season or competitive fixture in accordance with its respective level of spectators before moving on to stage two

Stage two:

From 31 August 2020, clubs at steps three to six of the NLS and tiers three to four of the WFP will be permitted to allow spectators to attend fixtures provided that their number does not exceed 30 per cent of the minimum ground grading capacity at their level or the respective figures set out within our updated guidelines. However, they must be satisfied that they have been able to comply with the Government’s guidance on the return to recreational team sport and our updated guidelines
The phased and limited return of spectators at these levels will be kept under constant review in line with the Government’s guidelines and will be amended accordingly as required.

Actually, not quite.

From the guidance -
Stage one:

From 22 August 2020 to 30 August 2020, spectators are permitted to attend fixtures at steps three to six of the NLS and tiers three to four of the WFP, providing that their number does not exceed 15 per cent of the minimum ground grading capacity at these levels or respective figures set out within our updated guidelines

So, at Leicester Road (Step 6) it's complicated - maybe 15% of 1300

At Sutton Coldfield it'll be calculated on our level, Step 4, and the minimum capacity at Step 4 is 1300 or possibly 1000 depending upon whether they mean Grade D or Grade E at Step 4. https://www.stadiumsolutions.co.uk/serv ... -gradings/

THEN we may need to consider from above -
If a club at these levels does not play any fixtures during this period, it must have played at least one pre-season or competitive fixture in accordance with its respective level of spectators before moving on to stage two.
Of course, we will have played fixtures, but not at The Grove. According to the text above, that doesn't matter, but that seems odd.
So we can probably be at 30% of 1300 = 390 for the Stourbr*dge Town game.

AND we don't know what -
or the respective figures set out within our updated guidelines
means.

I need a lie down.

depends what 'or the respective figures set out within our updated guidelines' is. I think that'll be higher than 1,300, I'm having a conversation with someone on Whats App at the mo............
