Nothing announced. Rumours as above but not confirmed.
I would think that something is in the pipeline or he would have hung around for the Trophy semi at least.

Re: Goodbye from Montel?
I know we had a few players sign up on contract for next season- anyone have any ideas how that’s going to work given the uncertain start of next season?
On an aside, Solihull Moors released a load of players yesterday. Might be a bit ambitious to be in the market for Step 1 players but I do wonder if the FA Trophy might stoke a bit of interest

The FA Trophy still keeps being mentioned as if it's some viable option. Just because the useless FA still want their showpiece finals it doesn't make it sensible. If they are all played behind closed doors then it will mean little to us fans anyway, and if by some act of lunacy they drag us all to these games before any protection against this virus is available, then how many will actually want to go?

There’s no point in playing the Trophy games behind closed doors. It’s not like the Prem where there’s a £billion TV deal and millions watching at home. Virtually all the revenue comes from the gate.
They can only play these games when they’re happy for a few thousand people to stand shoulder-to-shoulder. So, realistically, we’re looking at 2021.

As an example of how ridiculous all this trying to restart too soon is, just look at Germany. They are supposed to be restarting in six days time. Meanwhile Dynamo Dresdon have just put their entire squad and coaching staff into 14 days isolation after positive tests. Going to go well there then......

I'm also a Grimsby Town fan and a lot of talk of their site that Montel has been training with them and maybe about to sign.
Ian Holloway is the Manager and I'm sure Montel would learn bucket loads from him.

I can confirm that he has signed a 3 year deal with us, and we are looking forward to seeing him play. Thank you
