https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biggleswade_United_F.C.
I was somewhat confused by this I remember reading about sky sports Spanish football expert taking over at Biggleswade but assumed it meant the other one as I didn't know this one existed it appears they play at the same location anyway still a bit confused but here it is.

No there are three!
Biggleswade Town (we'll play them next month)
Biggleswade United (whose chairman is Guillem Balague)
Biggleswade (same division as United and formed from Town's under 18s)
Based on population, by that token, Halesowen should have about 10 clubs!

But that's what's great about non-league, the folks you meet and chat with on the terrace.
Today you hit the nail on the head, we are proper football fans watching a team though thick and very thin mostly thin
I followed Walsall for many years and have followed a host of non league clubs since
Without a shadow of doubt the most enjoyable period has been the last 20 years or so watching proper folk watch proper men playing a game we all love
No doubt we will have our moan and wait for our moment of success, once a decade if we are lucky
But who cares , we do

Any chance if we finish 3rd from bottom we might get a reprieve some how.Any teams struggling or close to folding in any close leagues.

Re: So, the reality.
From what I am led to believe there would be no reprieve should a team from our league resign/fold etc. Another team would be promoted to replace them.
