Fantastic amount of people down there last night.

Long may it continue as you say Scouse. Good company and banter too...

Next working party on Thurdsay night, hopefully to shift the remaining soil onto the pitch. :)

i can also confirm that, after working hard with wheelbarrows full of soil, our keeper`s arms are now 6 inches longer which should help with next seasons goal difference as he can now touch both posts while standing in the centre of the goal mouth

hi all

Just want to say thanks to everyone who has helped so far. I will not be able to make it tonight ( illness), so if anyone reads this, could they please pass on this message.

The old hawne lane half of the pitch, needs a few more loads of soil. I have done around the penalty area and goalmouth (so no more there please). I have seeded to the edge of both six yard boxes full length of pitch, so we could do with some soil being spread to that width, as its pretty much just the centre that has been done in that half. I need to finish off levelling Stourbr*dge road end goal area and re seed. I will hopefully be down the weekend to brush and finish off the areas, and then hopefully let it settle down and get washed in with some RAIN !!!!! I then can top any areas I see, with what we have left over.

Thanks again,

Paul, Groundsman

Just to quell the rumours about the blisters on my hands and unable to hold a long, stiff rod in my hands for long, it is true that I was de-weeding the Stourbr*dge road end last night :P

Took me all morning to think that one up!

Ground open from 09:30 in the morning!

The morning: we need to carry on painting the dressing rooms and weed the

terraces. Bring what tools you can, all are welcome! When the grove looks good on August you can say you were part of it!
