Working Parties

Post by yeltz85 » 12 May 2012, 15:53

Yet again the same (few) people turning up for the working parties.

Next week should see tonnes and tonnes of soiled delivered for the pitch... We need all the help possible to shift it onto the pitch.

It won't be possible with just four or five people. I seem to remember a few people moaning last season about the pitch condition... Well money is now being spent and it's only fair that those who want to see a decent playing field get involved.

Small rant over! :)

Thanks to those that turned up to help today, if we are to complete everything that needs doing before next season we need more people getting involved.

The soil for the pitch should arrive on Monday so we need people from 6pm on Monday and Tuesday, it will take a lot of bodies to get the soil placed in the right areas on the pitch.

First batch of top soil has arrived apparently!

All hands required to shift it onto the pitch asap so the next batch can be delivered!

yes soil is there waiting, shifted about a quarter last night with a few of the `usuals` (and a couple of steve`s kids!) tonight we need to get the rest in (not least cause its out side of the gates and theres a lot of allotments in the area!) BUT WE NEED MORE TOOLS..shovels/rakes/wheelbarrows..its a bring your own tool party (so many chances in this post for `funny` comebacks, sorry!)
