Another potential problem.
As if we haven't got enough already this crossed my mind. I don't know whether us or a promoted team could be asked to make way if the FA decide to place AFC Villa of Toytown at our level.

I was talking to a Villa fan I know the other day and I told him that I’d heard they are selling Grealish to Albion for £15million....
He says, "You are winding me up?"
I say, "No it's HMRC that are winding you up. I'm just taking the piss."

Re: Another potential problem.
If we can have some sympathy for them lot from B6, I hope that there’s not an analogy to be drawn between Wembley 2018 and Twerton Park 2008.

Apparently they've sold a car park. That should rake a load in....
They ought to sell the warehouse next to it, a mosque would look ok with those fancy steps outside.

Re: Another potential problem.
It’s indicative of football at all levels unfortunately.
Impatient (at best) owner, gamble, win and succeed (Newcastle - 130% of turnover spent on wages the year they got out of the Championship) or lose and sink (Sunderland, Leeds, loads at our level - Gloucester various times, North Ferriby, anyone remember Colne Dynamos, and of course, us).
At Championship level, it’s probably a risk worth taking imo but, if it explodes, you have to take your medicine.

I was discussing this with a fan of the said club in my usual serious concerned way and was given the usual "won things","cups" story. Sadly I had to concede this was true when shown evidence of one of thier recent victories.
I actually thought thier club colours were sepia....You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
