I can't be bothered to type so I'll talk about the positives, which are as follows;
We got 'nil'.
The end.
We got 'nil'.
The end.

I'm genuinely surprised to hear we were so poor. I guess though the results don't lie. One injury time victory and 3 poor defeats.

Re: Hednesford Updates
It's hard to look back positively on a game that was effectively over after ten minutes. Again, we looked 'better' in the second half but I do think we have been beaten by quite a poor team tonight.
Both away games have been over as contests early on. We need a game which is still tight after half an hour to see if we can get anything from it. A positive result is needed quickly I think...

Re: Hednesford Updates
We are trying to play a better style of football, and it worked in some of pre-season, but the opposition were poor and you could argue, that enabled us to play better.
Now we are playing teams at our level, we don't have the same time on the ball and this is making us seem slow starters.
I personally hope that the coaching team stick with the new style, and as fitness builds we play our way through the mire, as stated here, we did have spells in the game, just not enough of them.
If the management don't stick with the new style then we are back to hit and hope (hoof) football which may yield a result here and there, but it will drive attendances down even more and any renewed hope for the season ahead will quickly dissappear.
Keep the faith and hopefully our next win is just around the corner.

Correct. And if memory serves me right didn't Barry Taylor and Elaine Surtees finish runners up in the mixed doubles once.Westyeltz wrote: ↑22 Aug 2017, 22:53That was a ping pong leagueYeltzDoc wrote: ↑22 Aug 2017, 19:41https://twitter.com/wademalley
