Youth team fixture list/league table

Weather permitting, the Youth Team are home this coming Wednesday 8th Feb, against a much improved Dudley Town side.

It's a local derby and always a battle when these two sides meet.

Usual admission prices apply, 7:45pm k/o.

Firstly, good luck to the 1st team in tonight's No.9 Derby, hopefully it will be cracker and one not for the faint hearted

Secondly, the Youth Team are home Weds 8th March, 7:45pm k/o against Wednesfield in a match that could decide the League Title.

Anything other than a win for Yeltz puts Wednesfield firmly in the driving seat to take the title, but a Yeltz win puts all the pressure on Wednesfield to win their games in hand to equal Yeltz points tally and take the decision down to goal difference for who will be crowned champions. Failure to win all of their games in hand will see Yeltz crowned as league winners.

Hope to see some of you there supporting the lads to drive them on to victory!

After finishing 2nd in their league, the Youth Team now have a chance to progress in the MYFL League's Supplementary Cup.

Following an impressive away win Weds 5th April, 3-2 at Dudley Town, a win over Racing Club Warwick on Monday 10th April will see us qualify for the cup semi-finals. A loss to Racing on Monday, would make it a must win game against Leamington on Thursday 13th April.

Victory over Racing would see the winners of the Leamington game finish top of our cup league, and play the runner-up of the adjacent league for a place in the final. Second place finish would see us play the winners of the adjacent league.

Both of these games are to be played at the Grove, 7:45pm k/o, usual admission prices apply, £3, £2, £1.

The Youth team have reached the semi-finals of the cup! "Great news" I hear you all say

So, our next match is on Tuesday 25th April, k/o 7:45pm at the Grove vs Stafford for a place in the final.

And in case you didn't hear, we won the #YouthBusico 1-0 too, "Great news" again I hear you all say, only even louder this time

One of the few bright spots on here this year has been hearing of the good performances by the youth team. Be great if they can finish it off with a trophy.

The Youth Team came through a fantastic semi-final against Stafford eventually winning 6-5 on penalties following 2-2 in normal time and 3-3 aet, there is nothing like doing it the hard way!

The cup final will take place on Wednesday 3rd May, against Leamington FC with the game to be played at Bromsgrove Sporting FC.

Kick off is 7:45pm, unfortunately admission prices are not known at this time.

Congratulations to the Youth Team on winning the Ray Mercer Supplementary Cup Final last night, beating Leamington FC 2-0.

Goals from La Marr Love and Kartel O'Neill in either half were enough to ensure Yeltz dominance got their just rewards.

Thanks to those of you who came to watch a Youth Team game this season, hopefully, following promotion to one of the Premier Leagues, we will see more of you next season supporting the team?
