Re: FA Charges & Sanctions
Everything you have said there is against the owner. Fair enough. But why have a go against as you put it 'The Yeltz Family' as I have said before they are not necessarily loving the owner or the management, they have their own opinions.
What they are doing is improving facilities around the ground which you can't knock them for, they are doing this regardless of who is the owner and who is the manager of the football club, because they have the interests of the club at heart.

nobody is knocking the self elected family for their work on the ground , although they do like to blow their own trumpet regarding same , but are you really so knaive to think that they have not got some ulterior motive ?

Dazza is right. The way in which the club's volunteers are treated on here is shameful.

Re: FA Charges & Sanctions
I agree - I have time for anybody who gives up there time for the club.
I cannot help thinking that there is a huge amount of jealousy on here from the old brigade whose noses have now been pushed out of joint?
I know very few of the so called "Yeltz family" but they seem to be doing a decent job.
As for them having an ulterior motive, the same could of been said of the Yeltz trust board or for that matter any of the cliquey volunteers in the past.
What does it matter Really? - life is too short for all this crap!
With the comments and attitudes on here then I cannot ever see the supporters of the club coming together which I find very sad.
Ken/Andy, remind me what you have done for the club in the past as I do not recall you being involved in an volunteering in the past 15 years.

No jealously - just a serious concern that what is being done is propping up the current regime (and I've love to know what our ulterior motive was on the trust board).gingeryeltz wrote: ↑15 Apr 2017, 13:06I agree - I have time for anybody who gives up there time for the club.

I'm reminded that one of the first things supporters direct teach trust committee members (and remember the committee are elected by the members) is that occasionally, if things are not right at the top, you have to ignore the heart and stop doing the things you do as helping out in the short term may exacerbate long term problems. Outside of family and work matters this can be one of the hardest decisions people have to make, but you just have to take a step back, and have a look at what is happening around you. Maybe canvass opinions of other people (members or otherwise) young and old. If there is growing discontentment then this is more than often for a reason.
If you do this, and decide to carry on, then fair enough - but some people will not like it - As has already been said, no one is knocking the effort put in by volunteers - many of us have also done this, sometimes at a financial cost as well as personal, and I'm sure this this continues today. Our concern is with the ostrich style of 'head in the sand' if people don't like what they see.
Then again, the picture may genuinely look better from down there

Yes Piearce. Sadly it's more true than you are obviously willing to accept, or maybe you just haven't seen or know about some of the things that have been said
