Re: FA Charges & Sanctions
As a first thought, it could have been much worse.
No FA Cup / Trophy ban, no points deducted (although I don't think this was ever likely as it was an FA matter, not a League matter).
What will happen with Steve now though?
Is he actually registered as the owner currently or is it Dave Smith, or one of Steve's family?

Very, very fortunate outcome. Fully expected the FA to throw the book at us.

Interesting times ahead. Not relegated I guess is a good thing, but I just hope we can compete at this level!

Re: FA Charges & Sanctions
If Steve is banned, and he's the main owner/money lender to the club, where do we get the money to pay player wages next season?
Do (dwindling) gate receipts/sponsorship cover player wages?
Is the club self-sufficient without Steve being involved?
Can someone with far more knowledge than I, please enlighten me?
And it could have been worse from the FA, so lets take a positive where there is one

The first paragraph of your post is open to question, I would suggest.

So the club will make no further statement on the matter. So supporters are not entitled to know the future of the club re ownership, running of the club, exctera excetra,

I think they mean no statement until after the appeal, after that I fully expect a new club badge for next season featuring a cloak, dagger and mysterious puppeteer.

Re: FA Charges & Sanctions
There is a protocol that is observed in these matters i.e. no statements, or comments, until all official processes are completed.
Let's just wait until it is prudent to have open discussion when the situation becomes clearer.
Having said that I feel a sense of relief that the club has not been punished over harshly.

I'd say the outcome is fairly clear, as for a sense of relief, its true the club has not been overly punished, though I see no reason for celebration until our club is run in an open, honest manner, unfortunately, I suspect dark forces lay behind the scenes of what is to come.lutleyyeltz wrote: ↑14 Apr 2017, 07:46There is a protocol that is observed in these matters i.e. no statements, or comments, until all official processes are completed.
