I would be interested to know what you mean by "elitist volunteers."
There are many who give their time and effort to help the club but, with all due respect to them, none to my knowledge fall into the category that you describe.
Would threats issued on social media by a close associate of a senior Club official to so called dissenting supporters, (serious enough for consideration of involving the Police) be deemed acceptable? Bullying of one supporter in particular by several Club officials because of a differing opinion, many 'awkward' questions and/or comments are quickly deleted from Club social media accounts yet people wonder where division is created, One club official in particular seems to forget his one man war against a certain Mr Cunnington yet that same Club official sees fit to currently wear a holier than thou cap.
All that glitters is not gold.

Not so quick to reply, I notice.
In someone else's words: "let's be 'avin you!"

Well I'm afraid, I for one have had enough of this bickering. I cannot believe Facebook squabbles are the order of the day. I equally can't believe anyone would expect any club anywhere to keep any negative comments on its page and then hope to gather sponsorship/ new support....Irrespective of what's happening.
I equally cannot believe supporters are threatening other supporters.
This forum is quite frankly, poisonous. If that poison is reciprocated back from another side, then no-one is better than anyone as I can see.
I will do as I have always done, support the Town as and when I can. I initially came on here to catch up on scores. I will do that elsewhere. I don't expect anyone to care or change opinions but my time on here is over I'm afraid.
Over and out.

What do you want everyone to do? Hold their hands up and say everything is rosy in the garden? Ain't going to happen until a lot of things change for the better.

It's not a supporter offering the threats,(the threats are not against me BTW) if you read the post it clearly states a close associate of a Club official, it is however other supporters / club officials bullying people who have a differing opinion. Unfortunately anyone who thinks all in the garden is rosy either doesnt want to hear the truth or is being fed a slightly optimistic version of fact. Believe me, I would be much happier talking about a successful (on and/or off the pitch) Halesowen Town.

I do not generally use social media, but when several people who I know to be credible tell me the same thing, I have every reason to believe them.
Moreover, at the Stourbr*dge match a prominent individual told me that he had been advised at half time that non-positive online comments were not required (that is my wording not his).
Ignoring a problem does not make it go away.
When so people who have supported for the club for years, indeed decades, stay away and others only go out of habit then something is seriously wrong. It is not just performances on the pitch, it is much, much deeper than that.
