Re: Interviews
Sorry no access to systems for quite some time, however Poll & Noggin have made clear statements re gate receipts & team budget and the correlation or lack of between the two, which was why I made my initial point.
I responded to challenge one statement alone, about clubs with smaller budgets getting better results, not any other.

Re: Interviews
Irrespective of budgets, gates, deep pockets or the like, one thing cannot really be questioned. The players that have been brought in, in the main, have not improved the team, the style or the results. A manager is there to achieve just that. If he can not then surely there is no point in him continuing. If the owner thinks this is satisfactory there is no point in him continuing either. I'm not having a go a either on a personal basis but where exactly will we have to be before somebody changes something?
The silence is becoming deafening.

Re: Interviews
I'd argue that players brought in over the course of the season and the back end of last season. have been good enough. We've had the Anderson, Goddard, Haines, Melvin, Birley, Digie, Silva and so on come in. We've had a group of players more than capable of producing good performances and results.andy wrote:Irrespective of budgets, gates, deep pockets or the like, one thing cannot really be questioned. What worries me, as previously stated, is we've lost a good number of good players and have replaced them with short term loans and youth players (screams cost cutting, unless we're told otherwise? Hopefully this gets answered one way or another?).
The worry is; we failed to get results with a solid group of players. No they're gone and we're threadbare what the hell do we expect to achieve?
Results and performances are already indefensible.
Fans need answers which aren't forthcoming.
As you say, the silence is deafening.

Re: Interviews
Unofficial Halesowen Town FC Forum. Surely it's unlikely you'll get any official comment on here. It's quite amazing how we all seem to have been told lots of different stories, so there's obviously lots of chitter chatter going on between people. Problem is if it's not written down in black and white (be it in the programme or official site) then it's never quite what it seems. Although the share offer was temporarily and even that was pulled. We need someone like Trump...........

Re: Interviews
Come, come Raiden that's a little unfair. We have won the grand total of 3 home matches against top 6 teams in the last four years (assuming Whitby don't drop out of the promotion race) . How can anyone question such an outstanding playing record?RaidenYeltz wrote:[Results and performances are already indefensible.
Back to the original topic, I think David Newton would make an interesting interview. He must be due back soon.

Fully appreciate this is an unofficial platform - but this is a thread asking what question we want and who they should interview. I'm just adding my thoughts! (It hurts if I think too much so I'll stop now!).
Hopefully the responses on here and other social media platforms will be noted.
