Tuesday Teaser

Danny Baker on the pitch at the last game at The Dell (Millwall, not Oldswinford).

There's an utterly tenuous link to us in the picture.

Answers on the back of a sealed down Bill Dellow Cup application form, usual rules and prizes apply, I can remember when this was all fields etc.

Didn't Rushden and Diamonds get the scoreboard?

Well, that didn't last very long.

Yep. They went to the now defunct, vandalised and about to be demolished Nene Park.

A real shame as covered elsewhere. I hope the scoreboards can be recycled somewhere else.

Although, what seemed really high tech, flashy technology back in 1995/6 when it read -

Rushden & Diamonds 1
Halesowen Town 2

looks really old fashioned now, so I suppose nobody wants it.

Brilliantly, Danny Baker's hat says - "UNTO HALF MY KINGDOM".
A phrase that I still regularly use - as in "I'd be willing to pay even unto half my kingdom to see Geoff Moss's like again" - which I've cleared pinched from the Radio 5Live and Mars flogging Bermondsey genius.

Such a shame about the ground...

The scoreboard and inner workings can be seen here... This was taken in Jan 2016 so assume its still there. If it works could be a bargain for any club.

Danny Baker once looked into our skip on our drive when we lived in Windsor Road.

To follow up Andy's comment 'The Dell', I don't remember Millwall ever playing near Brierley Hill ??? That would be carnage every other Saturday.

The Den perhaps? Brother Coopers memory failing him for once. Dehli Bally Brains maybe? ::)

Interesting report and photos.

I'm trying to work out where we were sitting the year of the 'racist flags' incident.

Crooky??
