The old chant of, "you only sing when you're winnin'" is very apt usually, but today it showed that given a performane to enjoy the Yeltz fans break into song - win or lose.
I don't think that I've heard "bright golden haze" all season at The Grove!

We've not had much to sing about. Despite the win today I still feel great empathy towards the current set up and situation of the club.

Good performance today, excellent pressing/work rate, especially in the first half, had to be the case, Whitby are a good side, knock the ball about at a controlled pace, easy on the eye, sadly not that killer touch in front of goal. Could possibly make the playoffs, all round we showed good persistence, but can we continue this effort. Deserved winners, nice to see a clean sheet, George B...shock surprise, hold the front page, scores the killer goal. Still prefer Delaney up front, Dunkley worked his socks off, much better down the middle. Won't be getting carried away lets see if we can continue in this vane, good to hear the shed end singing in the second half, also the TV Tower gang giving it some welly. For me chillie was MOM although all the starting eleven worked hard. Can we do it again against Ashton next week, take deep breaths, fingers crossed. ;) ;)

Performance wise it might not have been the best but what an important victory.

It was nice to hear the shed come to life, sadly these days it only happens on the rare visits of former members of Yeltz Yoof.

I would give Dunkley MOTM led the line well and the Whitby keeper kept him at bay with good saves in the first half, goal was pure class.
