If there is a hard frost tonight I think there will be doubt over the game going ahead.
Bearing in mind the fact that Whitby will have an early start there will have to be an early pitch inspection.

my thoughts exactly I would hope the club would want to avoid a Tiverton style situation where we got all the way down there to discover the game called off due to one bit of the pitch being frozen. Having previously been declared on because they thought that it would thaw out by kick-off time.

The forecast is for overnight temperatures to be marginally above freezing. On that basis I feel a little more optimistic than I did at 7 0'clock this morning.

It was warmer than what's predicted when Walsall was called off, albeit that was meant to be an evening kick off.

10am must be the latest we can let Whitby know, so I'd be a 0% chance. But YD knows how positive I like to be
