The above is a great match.
No! I don't want Matt Clarke as manager, it needs a completely different approach and he is part of what's wrong at the moment. As for Jay Denny, according to the manager on twitter he did a fitness session recently didn't he? That obviously went well didn't it looking at the current fitness levels

I don't think you can judge Jay on one fitness session. Even you can probably see that comment is stupid. That's like saying I could go to the gym for one session and being fit to run a marathon.

I'm not sure really, even though it is only one session. I can see what you're saying but it could be argued that he has been part of the setup now for ages too, and if he was so hot on the fitness of the team he would have been laying the law down to the squad about it. He is captain after all.

Suddenly the captain is the fitness coach...........

didn't Darren Caskey used to take fitness sessions? "Dean, you get the pies, Pierpoint, fetch the chips, Eldon, don't forget the pasties......... and I want you back in 10 seconds........."

8) 8) Sounds like Stokesy's Sunday League side... Where's the cider?

In all seriousness, from experience... Non League players at this level normally look after their own fitness outside of training. If they want to work hard and push further, aka, Tonks & Tilt are two that come to mind. They have to be very disciplined which they were.

I wonder if Wayne Rooney is laying down the law about fitness this morning.

Back to Graham Hyde, sounds like a good appointment but we will only play the way the manager asks. Time will tell.

Hahaha.
Finally something on the forum that doesn't make me want to fling myself off a floodlight pylon.

A great example of thread-creep. (Not Changey's nickname).
