Just 1 win in 6 now.

We've just threw away a 2 goal lead against a rubbish side.

Simply not good enough.

A bit harsh on Ashton. Not spell binding but a competent team. That said its a game we threw away. I thought we were slightly better than them in patches but not a huge amount between the two teams. We look half decent at times but shoddy at others.
Mid table team tbh.

Threw it away, plain and simple. Sloppy defending, poor concentration and two cheap goals.

Ain't not much more to say than that, really.

Totally agree with Raiden, Ashton were very poor. 2 scrappy goals put us in a commanding position and at times we played some good stuff. Never anything great but enough to beat a side like that, and yet.......

Overall the game as a whole was pretty uninspiring to watch. I did expect more from Ashton who finished in the play-offs last year and thought we'd be up against it.

However we found ourselves two goals up, both a little fortunate however despite that thought we did enough to warrant the lead and from them on you would have expected we would have seen the game out comfortably.

So in the end to concede two goals when in truth we weren't put under a great deal of pressure is extremely frustrating and very disappointing.

There is a lot of talk of John Hill in/out and whilst I can't concretely say either way, there is a feeling that things have become rather stale both on and off the pitch in terms of tactics and also dwindling crowds that maybe a change wouldn't be such a bad thing.

I wasn't there today but I think Dales use of the word
stale is accurate. Obviously I have stronger feelings about it than that but it's like RDM and the Villa against Nottingham Forest, Brentford, Barnsley-to concede a two goal lead once is ok, but to do it twice in a few weeks isn't acceptable.

Despite what Piearce wrote the other day, there were occasions last season where I gave credit to JH, but the early season results against Hednesford and Blyth made my mind up that enough was enough, hence why he won't find anything positive this season. There are more people now coming round to the idea that change is needed, but because of things we discussed last week, I can't see anything changing soon sadly

John Hill has just replied to my tweet suggesting 'poor game management', as the reason?

Isn't he the manager? Doesn't game management come from the manager? He made a point of including Kev and Matt in the tweet. I'd like to take this chance to reiterate I have no problems with these two and any criticism isn't aimed at them. Far from it.

Don't know why I've been singled out, I must be the only fan to have higher expectations than current results and performances. I apologise for having high expectations. They will be lowered in coming weeks.

To throw away a two goal lead v Stourbr*dge, a one goal lead v Nantwich and then a two goal lead today, isn't bad luck. It shows there is something fundamentally wrong with how we defend and how we're set up.

My opinion isn't valid, though. As I don't know nothing, and others know better.

Raiden I agree with you. Not that there's much comfort to be had in that on here

The problem is yours and my opinions don't count as much as others, despite what people say or think

It's also funny how I don't get recognised for vocal support I give during a game.

But I'm jumped on quick enough to get critiqued for negative comments post game.

Funny that.
