Re: Coleshill
A good result on a day when many other step 3 sides crashed out. Don't disagree too much with previous comments, as there were times when we played some nice stuff, but there was a horrible tendency to keep seeking out the long ball to Kaiman who was alone up top.
Kaiman, it has to be said, is a class act, but we are too reliant on him to pull a rabbit out of the hat at the moment. It's a bit like we were with Ben 10.
One massive positive from today was the new bloke in centre mid, Goddard, who ran the show. Short passes, creativity, and an attacking threat as well. Exactly the kind of player we've been crying out for.

Yep, all said. Next round and a nice payout today are the positives and a good debut from Goddard. We were discussing today do we want another winnable/banana skin game or a big crowd puller that we would probably lose.

Easy (banana skin) home ties as deep as you can go in this cup. Let's get through to the first round!andy wrote:Yep, all said. With the conference north and south teams joining in the next round the odds of an easy tie decrease further; but yes, I'd take Highgate, Westfields, Kirby Muxloe or Leicester Road.RaidenYeltz wrote:Easy (banana skin) home ties as deep as you can go in this cup. Brilliant highlights. If I was Milligan or Delaney I'd be sending this to the FA and asking for a yellow at the very harshest! What a terrible refereeing decision

Shame there isn't an angle from the opposite end.HalesowenHarry wrote:Brilliant highlights. If I was Milligan or Delaney I'd be sending this to the FA and asking for a yellow at the very harshest! What a terrible refereeing decision
I was in the Shed and to me it looked for all the world Milligan pushed Delaney in the face.
I didn't see what Delaney did to justify a red at the time nor in the reply. I know that biased but I'm throwing he old Wenger excuse here 'I didn't see it!'
