I think the problem is that the deal for Che Adams is apparently in instalments. Ilkeston creditors assume they have the money straight away which they don't.piearce9 wrote:You probably know more than I do, HH, but I thought they might get a reprieve. A lot appeared to depend on the sale of Che Adams, who has now moved to the Blues after quite a lot of courting (a good signing for them too), and they'll get 20% of the undisclosed fee. I guess they spent their inheritance before it arrived?
I''ve mixed feelings about Ilson. I don't really like their supporters much, but their set up seemed neat and they appeared to have some good ideas. I think I'd rather they stuck around though, never a good thing to see clubs struggling.

Re: Ilkeston...
A club who sells dirt cheap season tickets (two seasons worth at that) have financial trouble. Who'd have guessed that?

Re: Ilkeston...
If / when Ilkeston are removed from the league would three be relegated and Ilkeston make the fourth, or would it remain four together with Ilkeston, so in effect five would be relegated? (If that makes sense!).

The ban has been lifted and Ilkeston can start their season.
