The Integro Doodson Cup

If I'm reading this right it looks as though we've got Rushall at home in the league cup on the 15th November.

I'm looking forward to the trophy game. This league cup, I couldn't give a toss about, if I'm brutal.

I know there's an argument about 'a good chance' to win a trophy...but it just doesn't do it for me!

I see your point about the league cup but it's always nice to get through I think. I remember when we reached the final of the Southern league cup playing Crawley town in the final over 2 legs we did all right in the 1st leg at home as I recall but then were well beaten in the 2nd leg I can't recall but it's possible Asa Charlton could have been involved in both those matches.

You're probably not wrong about Asa as he was with us then so it's possible he could have played.

I remember that, it was in 2003 I think, we won the first leg at home 2-1 and I remember skiving off the afternoon of school to get the coach to Crawley for the 2nd leg! As you say we were well beaten 2-0 so they won it overall. Strange to think we played at the same level at Crawley but you could tell at the time they were destined for bigger things.
