I've been on to league since we got fixtures last night at 9pm and again this morning.

I'd be interested to know why they changed it. (Or at least what they say their reasons for changing it are.)Sccmkcyr wrote:I've been on to league since we got fixtures last night at 9pm and again this morning.
Let's hope we can get it resolved but it does unfortunately rely on the goodwill of Rushall, Sutton, and Hednesford too. Not a great situation at all- one that was easily avoided by the league.

you watch, they'll change the derby fixtures back to Boxing Day and Easter Monday and we'll have the worst weather for those two dates in history............

This must surely be an error by somebody that doesn't know the usual way of things. To want to deny 2 of their own clubs their biggest paydays would be madness. I'm sure this will be sorted.
Then again I was sure our badge fiasco would be sorted too.....

Re: Fixtures 2016 / 2017
Disgraceful decision to move the games to pointless midweek fixtures. It wouldn't have even been as bad if they were moved from the traditional Boxing Day/Easter Monday games to another bank holiday like in August and New Years Day, as this has also happened in the past.
Personally, and I'm probably in the minority here but the changes to midweek would maybe suit myself better in terms of being able to make the games, especially the away fixture at Stourbr*dge on the Monday night but of course obviously it would be better for both clubs and the majority of fans if they were kept on a bank holiday due to being guaranteed crowds pullers. If it remains as these dates there'll probably only be about 500-600 at each game on a week night whereas they usually attract between 1500-2000 on a bank holiday.
I hope this can be rectified but this would cause a massive fixture rescheduling chaos.

It just goes to show the ineptness of football organizers, at all levels of the game.

Pity Steve was not so quick to respond (in fact not at all) over the club badge fiasco. Not the same potential loss of pound notes? Well I hope it does still prove costly...Sccmkcyr wrote:I've been on to league since we got fixtures last night at 9pm and again this morning.

Andy I told you to contact the club via the website and several others told you the same, if you choose to ignore them and keep moaning then there's no point repeating it again and again.

Any updates from the league, re; the fixtures?
If change was forthcoming I'd have expected an announcement by now, so I'm not hopeful common sense has prevailed.

Many apologies. Just trawled back through the post and you did come on to say that you wouldn't comment on here after previous episodes. I would have thought though that any information you would give to me via the club website would be good to put on here for everybodys consumption. Nevertheless I will contact.Sccmkcyr wrote:Andy I told you to contact the club via the website and several others told you the same, if you choose to ignore them and keep moaning then there's no point repeating it again and again.
