Re: Club launch replica kits for 16/17 campaign
Back on topic - I'm a little disappointed that over the last three seasons we've had the same home kit, all be it with a new sponsor (last season) and now a new badge this. How many will actually sell, given we've in essence had this kit for two years already?
Surely with a new badge and image a new kit design would've been great, and presumably sold more?
Given then relatively small minority negative views I've read on social media over the new badge design, potential slow sales of the home shirt due to the same design, won't help sway this attitude?

How can you say this when the are more negatives than positives. As an accountant you should know what constitutes a minority.

Yes, I'm well aware of yours and other posters' previous involvement and great help to the club.ZeeZee wrote:There's an idea I never thought of Raiden, get involved, none of us have done that before.RaidenYeltz wrote:What ever your thoughts on the badge - the general consensus of the church design I understand - but comments suggesting people don't care about our history, couldn't be further from the truth.ZeeZee wrote:Apart from the total disregard for heritage or supporter opinion, What really gets me about this is if the 'Club' or whoever it was that took this decision wanted a new Club logo, they may as well have gone for a totally different design because that poor excuse for a design depicting the generic church wearing a paper hat has absolutely no connection with the Town. The supporters of this Club fought a bitter 3 year war to protect its identity unfortunately people have arrived that think it does not matter.
There are people who, yes are new to the club, but care a great deal about OUR club and are doing great work, hard work, in their own time to help improve the club.
If you or anyone else feels they're not doing a good job or things should be done differently then I urge you or anyone else to get involved and make a difference.

Yes ZeeZee I agree, it's annoying and frankly insulting to those who have helped previously to keep seeing that they don't help. And it feels like it's always a form of emotional blackmail to say well if you don't help, you don't care about the club as much as we do etc. Maybe those who keep moaning that people won't help should be asking themselves why some people won't help anymoreZeeZee wrote:There's an idea I never thought of Raiden, get involved, none of us have done that before.RaidenYeltz wrote:What ever your thoughts on the badge - the general consensus of the church design I understand - but comments suggesting people don't care about our history, couldn't be further from the truth.ZeeZee wrote:Apart from the total disregard for heritage or supporter opinion, What really gets me about this is if the 'Club' or whoever it was that took this decision wanted a new Club logo, they may as well have gone for a totally different design because that poor excuse for a design depicting the generic church wearing a paper hat has absolutely no connection with the Town. Raiden, I would suggest you know nothing, but you certainly know how to pick your enemies....

Who's picking enemies?
Welshy, I've seen as many positive as negative comments re: the badge, hence my comment.
I do feel the club have missed a trick by releasing a new badge yet keeping the same home kit.

I do like the kits especially the yellow away kit and would probably have purchased 3 for myself and grandson but won't because of the silly badge.
PS is it true that there are 3 kits so 1 can be left permanently on the coach ? Just in case.!

I have just been asked to facilitate a session for a client next week to determine their approach to business change management. To include:
understanding the impact of sudden change
how to win over people who may not want the change
how to assess the benefits/disbenefits of the change
Guess what situation came to mind? Uncanny timing
