Any plans to have working parties on weekday evenings?

Great work achieved by all this weekend. Can only get better if more join the draw which I am sure they will do over time now they can see what the money is being used for. Just goes to show that the money helps to do the job properly rather than add a temporary solution that will only last a few years.

I only found out the other week that people in the old draw were asked not to join the new one. I wont go on to say the reasons but hopefully the work that is being done will convince those people join once again.

As things stand at the moment there are no dates in mind, however it will happen. Keep an eye on here, and the usual places for further details.

Thanks for updating it onto the club website.

I find the other comment really, really disappointing, all I have ever done is do my best for the club with the time I have available to me, I've always been 100% transparent and always will be. I hope that people will see what I and other fans have done for the club since I took on the draw and make up their own minds to join.

Hopefully the good work seen last season and this season will encourage more people to join the draw.

In light of the fact that people have asked about working party times other than Saturdays, we'll do mini working parties on a Tuesday evening from 5pm until dusk.
Hopefully this will give others an opportunity to get involved. We'll try it for a few weeks to see if it is successful.
The first Tuesday session will take place on 24th May. It would be great if you could come and help out if only for a couple of hours.
Thanks

Sorry for the lateness of this post, but got to say the Working Party on Tuesday was a great success, lots done, still so much to do, but starting to see the rewards of everyone's Labour in some areas.

Even had a couple of people who are unable to help come along and take a look at the work being done.

Another working party scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday 27th May) from 9am so if you can spare a few hours come along, and don't forget your mug.

Another really productive working party on Saturday with lots of painting completed indoors, some much needed maintenance in the home dressing room and showers area as well as work almost being completed on the new programme shed with only the interior to complete now. The Yeltz version of ground force has also continued their excellent work in removing the overgrown greenery.

On Tuesday there will also be a working party from around 1pm (making the most of half term) until around 8:30pm. If you can pop in to spare and hour or so it would be most appreciated. The work on Tuesday afternoon is very much a 'sitting down and sorting' type job so even those unable to partake in the more physical work can perhaps join us for an hour or so?

There may also be a working party on Wednesday morning - but I'll confirm nearer the time.

Thanks again to those who helped out, there's plenty more to do and there are jobs for all - it would be great to see some new (or old) faces.
