John Hill Interview (Audio)

Post by Baggiebrookesie » 12 Feb 2016, 08:37

Hello :)

Just to let you know I did an interview with John Hill yesterday which should be making it's way on the website sometime today. It's something different I have tried.

If it's liked and popular then myself and John have agreed to do this on a regular basis to keep the fans well in the loop with goings on at the club :)

However if not, then I am happy to continue doing the articles. Although my plan is to do a bit of both anyway if it works out ;)

The only annoying thing is it plays the next interview, so I am currently looking into other platforms to see how this can be stopped!

Any feedback would be great either way.

Hope you like it!

Thanks.

Without having heard it obviously this sounds like an excellent idea to me. Looking forward to it.

No problem. Thank you for the feedback. Will see what everybody else thinks and then take it from there.

A good interview Dale, I like to hear John speak, I think he talks a lot of sense. Obviously losing a player like Joe is disappointing and despite sensing John's frustration in the interview, it was also interesting to pick up on his positivity too. I'd like to hear this format of interview every week if possible, I think sometimes you can lose the context of how things are meant in written word. (That isn't a knock at your written work either!)

Cheers Rob. Thanks for the feedback mate. The feedback so far has been very good. So I think I'll give it another bash instead of the article next week. As I said if it does become successful then I'll mix and match it with articles and audio. E.g pre-match article and post-match audio or vice versa.

But I must admit I too prefer it when a manager speaks because like you said you can tell expressions. Don't get me wrong it's nice to read sometimes which is why I'll find a balance for certain things.

Please be mindful though it won't be superb audio simply because it's done by phone but in my opinion is a great alternative for when it can't be done face to face.

Looking forward to more feedback but at the moment it's sounding like the fans like it :)

Thank you for what you do. It is good to hear or read our managers thoughts.
