Why not...only a fiver and a chance to visit The Grove for the first time this year and it's a night out of course so an excuse for a beer or five.

Weather permitting of course.....

Firstly, how many people will pay £5(!) to go to this in early February? You know my opinions on ticket prices as it is, it's a bit steep for a friendly. And is it really a good idea if the pitch isn't in good condition anyway?

Suppose we have to use it at some point, considering we should be first choice on there.

There have been lots of Sunday League games / Baggies ladies on there recently.

Concessions are £3 and under 16s £1.

Me I will pay a fiver to see my team play.
It is good for the team to have a compettive match instead of training, against a higher division opoosition.

You\people have two choices come pay and watch or don't come. Simples!

The pitch is in a reasonable state. However, huricane Imogen may make this game not happen too!

If your travels Yeltz 27 take you near to Marine or Workington pop in and have a look at their pitches.

It's not a competitive game, as it is not in a competition and the outcome is essentially meaningless, so it is essentially a training game, but I get your drift.

It does seem an odd one considering we've played more league games than anyone else, so it's not as if the players have been idle for weeks. I can't think it's particularly a commercial winner either as the gate receipts may not exceed £500, but just a chance to try out some different things I guess.

£5 is more than reasonable for a friendly. Don't get the issue there.
