I see the...
mass exodus of players occurred when Trevor left and some have now transferred , with him
... is working.
Aaron Forde now on a contract.
Sutton have now in the last eight league games Won 0, Drew 1, Lost 7.
Their forum must be in meltdown.

Regardless, I'd have Christie, Forde and maybe Kettle back down the Yeltz, in a heart beat! (within reason and at the right price, before any spouts off about 'Sutton throwing money at players).
I think two of those, would pretty much walk into the side we have at this moment in time. Kettle is a good player, but I think we've got good options at CB in Asa, Lewis and Hull.
I've not seen enough of this new right back / wing back, to judge.

Christie was one of my favourite players at the Yeltz and I'd maybe even go as far as saying he was our best player in the first half of last season. But he went at the right time- I think he's only played 90 mins once this season (beating us 6-0 with Barwell), so you can't rely on that.
Forde- yes, absolutely, we'd take him back and he'd be straight in the team.

We've only got Daniels and Waite as a forward options at the moment. I'm not convinced Waite is good enough for this level. Daniels certainly is, but how often will he be fully fit? On that basis I think Christie would play quite regular!

Our top scorer has 5 (Bragoli from midfield)
Ben has 13
Enough said

You've just mentioned another player who'd walk into our current 11, as it stands.

quote from my previous post. "the mass exodus of players occurred when Trevor left and SOME have now tranferred to Sutton."
As usual Yeltz 85 you are too quick to ridicule and mock any post you disagree with, whilst this time completely missing the point I was making. So I'll spell it out for you. We were told by an " insider" , half way through last season that there would be an exodus of players and not all of them through John Hills' wishes, but we were misled as to the reasons of some of the reasons for their departures. The replacements in no way have come up to the standard of the players who left. I was neither advocating or supporting Trevors' departure but what I would say is that Christie, Haseley , Ford, and Christian Green would walk into this present below par squad.

In that case, that doesn't make our cup exit against them last week look too clever.

Precisely. We can only assume the 8 teams Sutton have played have a bigger budget than they do though

On further inspection, four of those 7 defeats came against teams placed 2nd, 3rd,4th and 6th and others included S*********e and Barwell who are likely top 6 candidates with games in hand.
Also within the same period Sutton have beaten Darlington and Stalybridge, no mean achievements, to make it to the first round of the Trophy and now have a home match against Barrow of the National League and of course they're in the next round of the Doodson Cup.
