Hahaha! Banbury!

Not saying it's bad but it's got it's own level on Call of Duty.

As opposed to Jed's Shed at Felixstowe & Port where, for £2.50, we got a fried food feast. Was an interesting experience though as the players had to walk a fair distance from changing rooms to pitch. So much that Stewart Hall kept his players out on the pitch at halftime and Matty Clarke was one of them given a roasting.

If the topic has the word 'worst' in it, then there is only one answer.

Have to agree with HH about racing club Warwick. When the dog was on was on the pitch Jo texted her dad, the reply was 'sign the dog'. It really was that uninspiring.
Another crap to get to hole was Fisher Athletic. God knows how long it took me to get out of London that day.
Sutton is crap. Even worse now with a plastic pitch and no parking.
Like HH I've been to hundreds as well, time to look at old programmes.

Their next door neighbours is a dive with unfriendly fans and a crap pub next to it. Welcome to Atherstone.

Yep, Fisher was awful. That could be top (bottom) of my worst list. Northwood wasn't much better, though it's clubhouse was ok.

Atherstone was awful initially when we went there and just kept losing. Every time. But we turned it around after about 10 attempts and then couldn't stop winning there, so that in itself shifted it down the list.

Some good answers. I'd forgotten Fisher, although it was generally more convenient for me back in the day.

A recent one that was truly joyless in terms of atmosphere, weather, result, beer availability and food has to be Gateshead. I couldn't watch my football in that environment every week. Bleugh.

agree Gateshead was particularly grim and especially when you've travelled a long way to get there. I also thought Frickley this year was pretty grim and I know it started this thread off but I am really not keen on Rushall's ground. I never went to Fisher so can't comment but I was surprised nobody has mentioned Welling.
