Yeltz27- how did training go? Did you pick up any info? Did we see John Hill use any of your tips in the game today? If you can debrief us all, that would be fantastic.

He knows his football - strange for a Tesco Bags fan - and he enjoyed the game and thought the standard was very good. He enjoyed the banter of our group behind the dugout and will definitely be there again.
It's all about opinions and expectations, after all.
By the way - I'm certainly not one of the lucky six who are in control of the club.
Name names, we'd all be interested!
He was watching Ranmy, then.

What makes you assume I'd go and meet the manager and be transformed in my view? It's quite strange that you all think that would just automatically happen.

I have never actually claimed to be qualified to say anything about football. But just like you I can give an opinion. I'm paying to watch after all.

The problem is, on this forum you've got roughly 10 regular posters, 8 or so who are behind the manager. Those who aren't either are too scared to post or can't be bothered. Don't forget, the 10 or so who post on here in favour of the manager make up a small number of our fans but assume they talk for the majority. The fact that that simply isn't true doesn't seem to matter. Hence why you might as well call it the yeltzfamily forum or the injohnhillwetrust forum. It's amazing how many people who used to post don't anymore. Like the people not going to games, it tells you quite a lot

I'd actually go along with this.

While I wish to distance myself with Yeltz 27's views...

I'd like to point out that a lot of people read this forum, who go to many a game, and they share a negative view and dont chose to post on here.

So in essence the positive majority on this forum, do no represent the majority. That's the impression I get.

I just feel so exasperated. Granted the first half was pretty dull but second half we attacked really well and seemed to break through their defence at will. We scored 2 cracking goals, hit the post and missed a good few chances. I don't see what more we could have done, although I'm sure some will tell me. Scraped it really!

Yeltz27 complains about being insulted and unnecessary comments being made yet feels it's ok to say that 5 or 6 individuals think they are running the club. They spend a lot of time helping out this club and before anyone gets on their high horse i haven't lifted a finger yet, but not once have i been chastised or pressured.

Just as people have the right to post negatively, so do the supporters of JH like myself.

First game for a while , nice to see Mr Avery is still attending in preference to his beloved Villa, Sprout tempted away from the local take away, LLL stumped for words, Stokesy tempted out of the bar & Noggin tempted away from the local health & safety convention. Lots of discussion on here about football (or lack of?) but we won, what gave me more concern was the atmosphere or more precisely lack of! Its more like friends of the grave than grove, suffering a bit in first half but where are the ' kick the bin and we will score' ,
'Beneath that invoice there's another invoice', 'Were gonna score in a fortnight' songs? The current crowd are like a cheap firework, fizzle a bit, burst into life for 3 seconds (about the 83rd minute I think it was) and disappear. Anyhoo, nice to be back for a bit.

More comedy gold right there, thanks for that.

It's a good job you're here to speak out for the masses of repressed, disgruntled supporters. You're like Halesowen's very own Che Guevara. The only difference is that Che would have gone to training when John Hill invited him.

I've never claimed to speak for anybody other than myself, I'm simply saying things aren't as great as you all say and there are from what I know, quite a few who think what we are watching is poor. I've never set myself to have a position close to the club, I've never even wanted a "profile" on here but got it for saying about the fitness last year and fought back.

Quite how I was supposed to go to training on Tuesday or Thursday when I was playing in London, or meet him after the game today when I am playing in Newcastle this weekend is beyond me

May i ask how many games have you seen this season?
