MOTM: Kyle Morrison

I think I would have given it Reece Hales to be honest!

We've scrapped a 2-1 win over the rock bottom side in the league. Courtesy of two set pieces which includes a brilliant free kick, from Hales.

Another 3 points which will no doubt put us in a good league position. A false position, in my opinion.

If and when Hales and Reffel leave us and return to Kiddy, what have we got? I realise I was a critique of Hales when he first joined. But he has since vastly improved and has become an important member of the starting 11.

A win is a win, and you're always told that when you don't play well and win it's a positive.

I just feel the same failings keep appearing. Defensively, it seems too easy to get through us. A couple of long balls today, and Rammy were through on goal.

Infront on goal we seem shy. We have forwards who seem scared to shoot. Why so reluctant?

The football, again, by in large was poor. With patches of good play.

I don't think the current formation works. I don't think the players seem comfortable with it. Again, harking back to Leek at home, we played 433 and we looked good. A front 3 with pace, yet we don't go back to that. Baffling.

I'm no big John Hill critique but some of his decision of late, baffle me. For example, taking off Daniels today? I can only assume that was forced, he's not played a great deal lately. But if tactical, that's worrying.

When Hales and Reffel return to kiddy, the away games mount for us and teams around us catch up with their games in hand I fear our position won't be so good.

With very few home games coming in the next two months I worry where the money is coming from (previously, I understand investors 'topped' up wages, but have we got investors willing to do that under the current regime?) No cup money either. Can we cover the wages of the current squad? I think that's worrying itself.

I'll probably get slated for this negative post on this forum, but I've been slapped on the back by a number of people over the last few games 'keep posting in the forum, you're right. It needs to be said'.

The club is going backwards as it stands. It hurts to see.

You're right it is a negative post. I can't be bothered to slate you as I haven't thawed out yet!
P.S. I'll retract that by reminding you that we play at The Grove, not the bloody Nou Camp!

Raiden we know. Or at least a lot of us do. The problem is is that the 5 or 6 who seem to think they are in charge at the club these days are unwilling to accept it and just start slating you for it, even though when you say you won't post anymore they tell you you still should because your opinion is as valued as everybody else's. Which, whatever anybody says evidently isn't true. The people that matter are the ones who aren't turning up at the moment, they are the ones who won't pay £10 to watch this and they are the ones who tell you what a lot, if not a majority of people actually feel. And whatever lutleyyeltz says, no we don't expect to see great football, but for a lot of people £10 is a lot of money for a saturday afternoon. So you have a right to expect a bit better than we get regularly. If you are happy with it good for you, I have no problem with that. But in reality we are almost back down to the core support of 200 or so who have been going for years and years. What was the attendance today?

A good right back, or rather good right wing back, is needed.

I introduced a newcomer today to the joys of watching The Yeltz.
He knows his football - strange for a Tesco Bags fan - and he enjoyed the game and thought the standard was very good. He enjoyed the banter of our group behind the dugout and will definitely be there again.
It's all about opinions and expectations, after all.
By the way - I'm certainly not one of the lucky six who are in control of the club.
Name names, we'd all be interested!
